Tristar Gymnastics!

Yesterday, 21st of September we went Henderson Class went to Tristar Gymnastics to do our final session. We met Kane and Ethan our instructors. We had a whole gym to our self. We started with the basics such as Forward Rolls, Backward Rolls, Balancing on the pipe, Barrel Room, A whole lot of jumping. That was circuit one. After that we had circuit two where the trampoline was included! I started with the beam because I found it fun. I jumped off and landed in my landing shape (motorbike shape.)  I jumped onto the bouncy trampoline and finished. At the end we all hugged Ethan and Kane said " Great no hugs for me!". We all ran chasing him! He jumped through the foam pit and across the pulling handle bars. He hid a room while we all put on our shoes. I would recommend this to everyone because it was a great experience. 5/5 from me , because everyone will enjoy it there.

Collaboration

Kia Ora Bloggers,

Today we had Gerhard in our class. We did some cyber smart working on collaboration and working together. We did a really cool google drawing about collaboration. Collaboration means working together as a team, in other words teamwork. This is important online because you could be working with anyone from any country in the world or any school. Collaborating can be used at any time in life, for example if your building something. Please enjoy my drawing and the rest of Te Wiki O Te Reo Maori / Maori Language Week.

Perimeter

Today we did math my favorite subject! I worked with my friend Chrislynn to complete a perimeter task. We learned about perimeter and how to calculate it. We haven't done area yet but will soon. Enjoy our DLO!

Staying Copyright Safe!

Today in Cybersmart we had Gerhard! We did some work on copyright and looked at a blog post which told us about a women who used a picture without asking the owner. She was fined a lot of money and that's not what you want to happen to you. The same rules apply to anyone in this world, whether you are a primary school child or a educated teacher. Please make sure you follow these rules as you don't want to be fined $7,500 or more! Enjoy the drawing and be safe online!
