Today I was doing the Summer Learning Journey Practice. Here have a look.
England (United Kingdom)
The reason I have choosen England is because I've heard that they have really cool things such as art gallery, London's Eye and so much more. Another reason is because I really wanted to try something new. I think it would be cool to see what it's like in England and compare it to New Zealand.
Did you know that England is the most populated country in the United Kingdom. The Summer Olympics have been held in England three times! Soccer is the most popular sport in England but people do love to play rugby and cricket! The longest river in the United Kingdom is the River Severn. Did you also know that England has a total of 6,289?

On the 18/4/18 I will be going to England! I am really excited to go. I really wanted to go to England because I've never been and I want to see what it's like there. I will come back on the 18/5/18! The places I have booked are, London's Eye, Art Gallery and some really cool museums. I know you haven't been either and you can come too! Do you know anyone that has been there? Great to write to! I like the facts you shared about England, particularly the information about activities you could do and places you could visit. I had no idea that England hosted the Summer Olympics three times, do you know whether any other countries hosted the Summer Olympics more times than England?
You seem to be really interested in the art galleries in England. Maybe next time you could research some famous or popular art galleries and museums you could visit in England.
I have a few favourite art galleries I like to visit; Pah Homestead and the Auckland art Gallery are my two favourites. Both are in Auckland if you'd ever like to visit them.
