J.K Rowling (reading group) Dazzle the Stage (more the like the class)!

I'm back with another exciting post! This week my reading group J.K. Rowling did a performance for our reading challenge! In this task we had to make a poster presentation without digital use. We used paper and felt tips to create this masterpiece! These are my self evaluation questions.

What went well?

I think that everything went well because it actually went better than I had expected! We did awesome work and I am really proud of us for this great presentation.


What would you change?

I think personally I would change some parts in this. What I mean is that everyone should be able to know there parts before we present. We should have also had time to rehearse a bit more.


Did you work well together?

Yes I think so! We did amazing work to get this poster to a great standard. I didn't know that I had such a great group to work.


Anything else?

I just want to thank the people in my group and also Miss V for the amazing work she did with our poster. She helped us with the art too!

Yellow Yahoo's at the Hay Park Athletics!

Yellow Yahoo’s at the Hay Park Athletics!

On the 13th November a school full of energetic teams, were getting ready to compete against each other in an athletics affray! Yellow Team, Blue Team, Purple Team (with a over the top intro), Green Team, Red Team, Orange Team, all in their separate colors and with different teachers are ready to run. Yellow had Miss Fortes and Miss Patel, Blue with Miss Wilson and Miss Huys,  Purple had  Miss Berry , Whaea Monica, Green Team with Whaea Marianne, Miss Stirling, Red with Miss Tau, Orange had Miss Jacobs.


Athletics day is a day that you get to do different activities planned by different teachers. The Hay Park School field was the venue. Shotput, High Jump, Long Jump, Tug of War, Water Relay and Gumboot Throw! Of course I loved Tug of War! YELLOW'S GREAT AND YELLOW'S FAST! WE'LL LEAVE THE OTHERS IN THE PAST!

Oh sorry! I was too busy saying my chant with the Yellow Team (aka the best team ever!)
Although we came 4th place we did really well and I am so proud of the yellow team!

"Athletics was phenomenal. My group was great because we were all encouraging each other" said Taylor the team's captain.

Potato Chip Crisis Hits New Zealand!

I'm back with another post! This time it is a news report, which I did with Eshaan! This was a very interesting video. Something I found difficult was the filming the act because we had to get to different places. I found the whole thing really fun and I would love you to enjoy my video. So without further a do... I still don't know what a do means but we will have no further of it, I present Potato Chip Crisis hits New Zealand!
